Shihpan Valley Waterfall Introduction
Shihpan Valley Waterfall Trail is 1.2 kilometers long, connecting the Big Suspension Bridge and the stone-paved trail, surrounded by lush green forests, which lifts the spirits. The valley where Shihku Waterfall is located is locally known as "Zhuzi P'ai". Its unique terrain is a tiered river valley, forming a series of waterfalls. By traveling upstream from the bottom, visitors can see various waterfalls with different appearances, totaling six, each with varying water flow. It is a tiered gorge with clusters of waterfalls; traveling upstream reveals various types of waterfalls. Although the water flow is not large, there is a subtle melodic charm to it. The water is icy cold and crystal clear, with the deep valley harboring clear streams and beautiful natural scenery. While walking through, one may enjoy the sight of the Red Lace Butterfly, Broad-bordered Swallowtail, Crow Butterfly, and Dead Leaf Butterfly fluttering about.
