Pomegranate Train Station Introduction
Shiliu Station, also known as Shiliu Class Station, opened in the 38th year of the Meiji era. In the 1950s, it primarily served the demand for road gravel across the island. It is now a flag stop on the Taiwan Railways Administration's trunk line, with only commuter electric multiple units stopping here. The wooden station building and staff dormitory were constructed in the early post-war period. Shiliu Station is located in the suburbs of Douliu City, and between Douliu Station (south) and Linnei Station (north). It is a wooden station built during the Japanese colonial period and is the only remaining early small station in Yunlin County. It has only local trains stopping here and has a history of over a hundred years from the Japanese era. It features a simple Japanese style and a tranquil environment, earning it the nickname of a century-old station.
