Taiwan's Little Guilin offers a physical challenge! The imposing cliff known as "Cliff of Heroism" features steep rock walls that require the use of ropes to ascend. Originally, it was a place where locals dried bamboo shoots in the sun. Climbing from the bottom up to the "Hero's Slope" next to Shiming Temple can be quite strenuous. It's recommended to start from the "Little Ladder" for a more manageable ascent, with the entire journey taking about an hour.
