Chih Ming Temple was established in 1989 and serves as the local faith center of Caoling. It primarily worships Sakyamuni Buddha, and also enshrines the Four-faced Buddha, a national treasure ancient Buddha from Thailand, as well as statues of Manjushri and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. The Four-faced Buddha was relocated from Thailand, and it is said to have performed many miracles and received numerous responses, making it one of the famous attractions in Caoling.
