Xianjie Temple Introduction
The main deity worshiped is Xianji Lingwang, built in the 46th year of the Qianlong reign. It is one of the earliest temples in Penghu and was rebuilt in the 54th year of the Republic of China, and has remained to this day. The wooden carvings in the temple were crafted by the disciple of the master carver Huang Liangshi during the construction of the Mazu Temple. This is the only temple in Penghu dedicated to Xie An as the main deity. After being deified, Chancellor Xie An is referred to as "Xianji Lingwang", and due to his significant contributions during the Battle of Feishui, he is honored as the "Guardian King of the Nation."
