Chiayi Wish Museum Introduction
The "Chiayi Vision Station" and "Chiayi City Railway Elevated Community Workstation" are located on the east side of Chiayi Railway Station (the former Kuo-Kuang Bus Station). The English name for the Vision Station is "Vision Station," which utilizes the concept of a "station" as a place that gathers people, exchanges information, and waits for departure. Coincidentally, this building leased from Kuo-Kuang Bus was originally an old Taiwan Sugar Corporation bus station. During the renovation process, the designer specifically preserved the original "Have a Pleasant Journey" classical painted archway. Currently, the first exhibition theme of the Vision Station is "Finding the Heart of Peach City," showcasing the past and present of Chiayi Station, an introduction to the history of Chiayi, and a simulated elevated railway route. With the use of augmented reality (AR), visitors can view a 3D map of the station using tablets. The Vision Station also serves as the Chiayi City Railway Elevated Community Workstation, with exhibition content that will be continuously updated according to the progress of detailed design for the elevated railway. It will provide construction information and host a series of public participation seminars, informational meetings, and workshops. Everyone is invited to the "Chiayi Vision Station" to understand the past and present of Chiayi Station and to participate in this journey of understanding the city's past and imagining Chiayi's future.
