Chiayi Dream Hall Introduction
The "Chiayi Vision Station" and the "Chiayi City Railway Elevated Community Work Station" are located on the east side of Chiayi Railway Station (formerly the national highway passenger transport station). The English name of the Vision Station is "Vision Station," borrowing the concept of a "station" as a space for gathering people, exchanging information, and waiting for departure. Coincidentally, this building leased from Kuanghua Bus was originally an old Taiwan Motor Transport station. During the renovation of the old building, the designer particularly preserved the traditional "Have a pleasant journey" classical painted archway. Currently, the first exhibition theme of the Vision Station, "Finding the Heart of Taoci," presents the past and present of Chiayi Station, introduces the history of Chiayi, and simulates the elevated railway route; augmented reality (AR) is utilized, allowing the public to view a 3D station map using tablets. The Vision Station is also the Chiayi City Railway Elevated Community Work Station, and the displayed content will be continuously updated according to the progress of the detailed design of the elevated railway, providing engineering information, while also hosting a series of public participation seminars, briefings, and workshops. All citizens are invited to come to the "Chiayi Vision Station" to understand the past and present of Chiayi Station and participate in this journey of exploring the city's history and envisioning Chiayi's future.
