Taiwan Presbyterian Church Zhongshan Church Introduction
The Chungshan Church is a Christian church built by the Japanese. The main gate's archway is inscribed with "Established in March 1937." It was originally a church of the Japanese Christian Anglican Church, known as the Taisho Town Church, serving the Japanese congregation living in the Taisho Street area at that time. The exterior is designed in the English Gothic style, and from a height, the roof of the church can be seen in the shape of a cross, featuring pointed arches, corner stones, and flying buttresses, all of which are well-preserved and have architectural significance.
