Taiwan Presbyterian Church Zhongshan Church Introduction
Zhongshan Church is a Christian church built by the Japanese, with the inscription "Foundation stone laid in March 1937" on the main gate's arch. It was originally a church of the Nippon Sei Ko Kai, known as Taisho Town Church, serving the Japanese congregants residing in the Taisho Street area at that time. The exterior is designed in the English Gothic style, and when viewed from above, the church's roof takes the shape of a cross, featuring pointed arches, cornerstones, and buttresses, all of which are well-preserved and hold architectural value.
