Taiwan Presbyterian Church - Zhongshan Church Introduction
Zhongshan Church is a Christian church built by the Japanese, with the main gate's arch bearing the inscription "Foundation laid in March 1937." Originally known as Taisho Town Church of the Japanese Anglican Church, it served as a place of worship for Japanese believers living in the vicinity of Taisho Street. The exterior is designed in the style of English Gothic architecture, and from a high vantage point, the church's roof can be seen shaped like a cross, featuring pointed arches, cornerstones, and buttresses that are well-preserved, showcasing its architectural value.
