Taipei Songshan Airport Observation Deck Introduction

The observation deck will undergo renovation starting from October 2023 for a period of 8 to 10 months, with the completion date subject to weather conditions and construction progress. The Taipei International Airport observation deck reopened in November 2010, located on the 3rd floor between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, covering an area of approximately 545 ping. The landscaping features plants that adapt to Taiwan's climate, using Ironwood, which offers benefits of low radiant heat. Additionally, to align with the image of an international airport, it has selected outdoor seating designed by world-renowned Spanish designer Alexander Lotersztain, named "Twig," which provides a glowing experience. An outdoor snack area is also planned on the west side of the entrance square for visitors to rest and dine. The observation deck is free of charge and serves as a new leisure option for the public.
