Mitiandong Riverside Park Introduction
Located between the Dazhi Bridge and the Zhongshan Freeway on the Keelung River, the park covers an area of approximately 42.3 hectares. The park was planned after the Keelung River was straightened and cut. It offers comprehensive sports facilities including tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and roller-skating practice areas, providing recreational space for nearby residents. During the day, visitors can enjoy views of the Dazhi Bridge and the Grand Hotel, with the occasional thrill of airplane flyovers. In the evening, the lights of the Dazhi Bridge and the riverbank are charmingly elegant, making it a delightful place for a stroll and the best spot in the Dazhi area to enjoy the night views of Taipei City. The park has also designated a "natural waterfront area" which not only increases species diversity but also purifies water quality through plant absorption.
