Meiti Riverside Park Introduction
Located between the Dazhi Bridge over the Keelung River and the Zhongshan Expressway, the park covers an area of approximately 42.3 hectares. The park was planned after the realignment and straightening of the Keelung River. It offers comprehensive sports facilities including tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and roller skating practice areas, serving as a recreational space for local residents. During the day, visitors can enjoy distant views of the Dazhi Bridge and the Grand Hotel, and occasionally feel the thrill of passing airplanes. At night, the lights along the Dazhi Bridge and riverside create an elegant and charming atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for appreciating the night view of Taipei and for night strolls in the Dazhi area. The park also features a designated "Natural Waterfront Zone," which not only enhances biodiversity but also purifies water quality through plant absorption. It provides a place for ecological education and the appreciation of natural landscapes, distinguishing it from other riverside parks in terms of facilities.
