Meiti Riverside Park Introduction

Located between the Dazhi Bridge and the National Highway No. 1 in Keelung River, this park covers an area of approximately 42.3 hectares. The park was planned after the Keelung River was straightened and has been developed accordingly. It offers complete sports facilities, including tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and roller-skate practice areas, catering to the recreational needs of the nearby residents. During the day, visitors can enjoy views of the Dazhi Bridge and the Grand Hotel, and occasionally experience the rumble of passing airplanes. At night, the lights of the Dazhi Bridge and the riverbank create an elegant and charming atmosphere, making it the best place in the Dazhi area to enjoy the night views of Taipei City. The park also features a "natural waterfront bay area" that not only enhances species diversity but also purifies water quality through the absorption by plants. It provides a space for ecological education and a chance to appreciate natural scenery, distinguishing it from other riverside parks. (Source: Public Works Department, Taipei City Government)
