Mei Tii Riverside Park Introduction
Located between the Dazhi Bridge and the Zhongshan Freeway along the Keelung River, this park covers an area of approximately 42.3 hectares. It was planned after the Keelung River was straightened and developed. The park offers a variety of sports facilities, including tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and rollerblading practice areas, providing leisure and exercise opportunities for local residents. During the day, visitors can enjoy distant views of the Dazhi Bridge and Grand Hotel, occasionally experiencing the thrill of passing airplanes. In the evening, the lights of the Dazhi Bridge and the riverside create an elegant and captivating atmosphere, making it one of the best spots in the Dazhi area to enjoy Taipei's night scenery and nighttime activities. The park also features a designated "natural waterfront area," which not only enhances species diversity but also purifies water quality through plant absorption. It serves as a place for ecological education and a sanctuary to appreciate natural landscapes, distinct from the facilities found in other riverside parks.
