Dajia Riverside Park Introduction
Dajia Riverside Park is located between Zhongshan Bridge and Dazhi Bridge in Zhongshan District. It is an urban green park developed by the city government after the Keelung River was straightened. The park covers a vast area, and upon entering, visitors are greeted by an expansive lawn and a distant view of the Taipei Astronomical Museum's Ferris wheel, offering beautiful scenery. The park features five major play areas and a bike rental section, each with its own unique characteristics. The dual zip line area includes both single-point and seated zip lines for children to experience different thrills; the inclusive sandpit area features slides, climbing structures, sand pits, and shaded areas for parents to rest; the hill slide play area has eight stone slides, climbing nets, and ropes, ensuring there's no shortage of slide fun; the swing and octopus-dolphin landscape area boasts five unique swings, a large octopus landscape, balance beams, and various other play equipment; the children's splash area is open from June to September and includes large circles, pillars, and giant flower fountains that are cute and fun, as well as a large fountain with a central water column reaching a height of 75 meters, showcasing visual variations in water flow. The park also has a sports area with facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and croquet, as well as several kilometers of bike paths circling the park (with bikes available for rent). Due to its spacious area, convenient parking, and beautiful environment, Dajia Riverside Park attracts many visitors on weekends for recreation and sports and occasionally hosts large events, showcasing the vibrant urban energy of Taipei City.
