Rainbow Start Line Introduction
In September 2020, Taipei City unveiled its second dazzling rainbow landscape, the "Rainbow Starting Line," located in front of the Taipei City Hall in the East District. This rainbow landscape extends from the city hall toward the council, cleverly drawing a line in the form of a runway, symbolizing a starting point towards happiness. It not only reiterates Taipei City's commitment to promoting gender equality but also echoes the annual Taiwan Pride Parade that begins in front of the city hall. The rainbow landscape seems to embody the hopes and passions of everyone, encouraging people to take firm steps forward on the road to happiness.
