Taipei Dome Introduction
Taipei Cultural and Sports Park is located in the urban area of Taipei City, shaping the character of the park alongside the historic site of Songshan Tobacco Factory. The park covers a total area of 18 hectares, with the Taipei Dome sports area occupying approximately 10.2 hectares. It is a distinctive park that integrates green spaces, forests, sports, performances, and recreational activities in the heart of Taipei City. The outdoor space of the park is open 24 hours a day and features 10 public art installations themed "The Bottom of the Ninth Inning at Songshan Baseball Stadium," which blend landscapes, interdisciplinary media, sports spirit, and the cultural landscape of Songshan. These installations embody "Trends" — urban trends; “Technology” — innovative techniques; and “Dreamland” — fantastical realms, inviting the public to explore. The Taipei Dome is the only indoor baseball stadium in Taiwan that can accommodate 40,000 people, meeting international standards with artificial turf, dedicated player backroom space, and comprehensive rest and training facilities, making it suitable for various international baseball events. It is also the largest international entertainment venue in Taiwan, with a capacity of 10,000 to 40,000 spectators, featuring diverse stage designs and professional performance systems, making it suitable for concert, musical, and other large-scale performances. In terms of exhibition capabilities, it has approximately 12,950 square meters of space that can accommodate 600 to 700 standard booths, supporting both consumer and professional exhibitions. The venue is conveniently located between the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and City Hall MRT stations, and offers over 2,000 parking spaces, making it a multifunctional landmark venue that integrates sports, entertainment, and exhibitions. The venue for domestic and international baseball events is equipped with WBSC-compliant baseball field specifications and high-standard artificial turf, allowing for comfortable hosting of various baseball events regardless of weather conditions. Domestic and international music entertainment venues offer a world-class sound system and professional high-hanging equipment to meet diverse lighting and sound setup needs for performances. Large exhibition events can accommodate about 700 standard booths, featuring 42 specialized workboxes for water, electricity, and internet, suitable for both large-scale international professional exhibitions and general consumer exhibitions.
