Sifengwei Mountain Introduction
Sifuntei Mountain is located in the southern mountain range of the bustling district of Xizhi. It is named after its four-sided pagoda-like shape and serves as the boundary mountain for four surrounding settlements. It is also known as Qiedongjiaoshan. The trail starts from the Tianxiu Temple entrance and is approximately 2.8 kilometers one way, passing by the well-known minor peak, Xizhi Dajian Mountain. Compared to the over 400-meter high Dajian Mountain, Sifuntei Mountain, with an elevation of 641 meters, provides a breathtaking view closer to the sky. On clear days, visitors can not only enjoy the urban scenery of Taipei City but also see Keelung Harbor and Keelung Islet in the northeastern view. Sifuntei Mountain was also a crucial route for travelers between Xizhi, Shiding, and Nangang, allowing visitors to appreciate beautiful scenery while tracing the footsteps of their ancestors.
