Sifuntei Mountain is located in the southern mountain range of the bustling area in Xizhi, named for its four-sided golden pagoda shape. It serves as a boundary mountain for the four surrounding settlements and is also known as Qiedongjiao Mountain. The hiking trail begins at the Tianxiu Temple entrance and stretches about 2.8 kilometers one way, passing by the famous minor peak - Xizhi Dajian Mountain. In comparison to the 400-meter high Dajian Mountain, Sifuntei Mountain at an elevation of 641 meters offers a closer view to the sky. On clear days, visitors can enjoy the urban scenery of Taipei City, and to the northeast, Keelung Port and Keelung Islet are clearly visible. Sifuntei Mountain was also a vital route for travelers between Xizhi, Shiding, and Nangang in the past, allowing visitors to appreciate beautiful views while tracing the footsteps of their ancestors.
