Sifenwei Mountain Introduction
Sifuntei Mountain is located in the southern mountain range of the bustling district of Xizhi. It is named for its mountain shape resembling a golden pagoda on four sides, and it serves as a boundary mountain for the surrounding four settlements. It is also known as Qiedongjiao Mountain. Starting from the Tianxiuh Palace hiking trail, the one-way distance is approximately 2.8 kilometers, and it passes by the famous minor peak - Xizhi Dajian Mountain. Compared to the more than 400-meter-high Dajian Mountain, Sifuntei Mountain, with an elevation of 641 meters, offers a closer view of the sky. On clear days, visitors can enjoy the urban scenery of Taipei City, and looking northeast, Keelung Harbor and Keelung Islet are clearly visible. Sifuntei Mountain was also a vital route for travel between Xizhi, Shiding, and Nangang in the past, allowing visitors to appreciate the beautiful scenery while tracing the footsteps of their ancestors.
