Wenshan Coal Mine Bus Station Introduction
Wenshan Coal Mine Station was once one of the five major mine sites in the country. Through collaboration with the Shiding Firefly Book House, local university social construction teams, local farmers’ production and marketing platforms, and Taipei Bus, the old bus stop has undergone a remarkable transformation. Everywhere, one can see thoughtful designs, including seating inspired by miner carts and a pit imagery experience. Looking down, there are painted railway tracks that recreate the historical scene; waiting for the bus is no longer boring. This charming, historically rich station has become a new highlight for social media photos. It is a bus stop on the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 795 route, and the "Three Lives Happiness Bus" connects attractions in Shenkeng, Pingxi, and Shiding, offering travelers a delightful ecological experience all in one go.
