Fourth Market Introduction
The historical building "Fourth Market," located on Nanjing Road in East Taichung City, was officially opened on December 4, 2021, after the city government introduced private resources and creative revitalization. It has been transformed into a spot that integrates youth entrepreneurship and cultural connotations. The exterior of the Fourth Market retains the roof of the Prince's Pavilion, while the interior features stainless steel tables and chairs, vintage market signs, and a reading area for the cultural and artistic community, creating a diverse space that has become a popular photo spot in Taichung. The venue regularly holds exhibitions on history and culture, comic and illustration-themed events, and local youth creative markets, combining illustration themes with local agricultural products for sale and light dining services. It aims to create a local cultural experience and a space that merges leisure and entertainment, while also preserving the historical building and supporting youth entrepreneurship.
