Chenggong Road Qingshao Street Introduction
Chenggong Road Herb Street was originally part of the First Market. After the First Market was tragically destroyed by fire and rebuilt as ASEAN Plaza, the original Herb Street has preserved its original appearance. Within Alley 90 of Chenggong Road, different herb shops sell herbal medicines and herbal teas, such as Hanqiang Herbal Shop and A-Lan Herbal Shop. These herb shops not only sell herbs but also brew herbal teas, winter melon tea, liver health tea, hibiscus tea, reishi mushroom tea, goji berry tea, and more. Although the shop owners are not traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, they possess a good understanding of many folk remedies. While they cannot diagnose or prescribe officially, they satisfy many who come seeking herbal remedies.
