Taichung Branch of Imperial Sugar Company Introduction
The historical building, Taiwan Sugar Corporation Taichung Office, was built in 1935. It originated from the Taichung factory space of the Japan Imperial Sugar Company. In Taichung, it has witnessed the rise and fall of industries and was registered as a historical building in 2016. It reopened in 2019, managed by the Haowei Team, which continues to plan and promote industrial cultural exhibitions, specialty themed restaurants, and ProLab artisan workshops, inheriting local spirit while injecting new elements and vitality into the site.
