Liannei Gongyun Temple Introduction
Gongyun Palace, the faith center in Lianan, Yunlin, is dedicated to the famous general Zhao Zilong from the Three Kingdoms period. According to legend, the deity of Zhao's residence arrived over 180 years ago, landing at Budai Harbor and eventually settling at the Zheng family home in Lianan for worship. In the 10th year of the Showa era, the temple was established through the initiative of the community, and an ancient plaque erected by the believers during the Showa period still remains.
