Ethnic Music Museum & General's Residence Introduction
Built in 1937, this elegant white Japanese-style house was once the residence of General Sun Li-jen, later transformed into an Air Force guesthouse, and now renovated as the "Ethnic Music Hall." The exterior is a blend of Japanese and Western architectural styles, often attracting many couples for wedding photos. The lush garden features steel sculptures, such as tree-eating insects and shackles, adding a playful touch. Another building, the General's House, was also an officer's residence during the Japanese colonial period; after the end of World War II, it became the official residence of the president of the Army Academy and is now the Cultural Relics Museum of Military Dependents' Villages, preserving the traditional red doors of the villages.
