Ethnic Music Museum & General's Residence Introduction
Built in 1937, this elegant white Japanese-style house was formerly the residence of General Sun Li-jen and later transformed into an Air Force guest house. It is now remodeled as the "Ethnic Music Hall." The exterior features a blend of Japanese and Western architectural styles, often attracting many newlyweds for wedding photo shoots. The lush courtyard is adorned with steel sculptures, such as tree-eating insects and shackles, adding a sense of interest. Another house for generals, which served as an officer's residence during the Japanese occupation, became the official residence of the president of the Army Academy after the retrocession and is now the Cultural Heritage Museum of Military Dependents’ Villages, retaining the traditional red doors of the military dependents' villages.
