Tribal Music Hall & General's Residence Introduction
Built in 1937, this elegant white Japanese-style house was once the residence of General Sun Li-jen and later transformed into an Air Force guesthouse. It has now been renovated into the "Ethnic Music Museum." The exterior features a blend of Japanese and Western architectural styles, frequently attracting many couples for wedding photography. The lush garden is adorned with steel sculptures, such as a tree-eating insect and shackles, adding an interesting touch. Another building, the General's Residence, also served as an officer's quarters during the Japanese occupation. After the restoration, it became the official residence of the president of the Army Academy and is now a Cultural Heritage Museum of Military Dependents' Villages, preserving the traditional red doors of the military dependents' community.
