Li Ji Stewed Duck in Pingtung boasts a unique flavor and excellent texture, having already won a local reputation. Established for more than twenty years, "Li Ji Stewed Duck" offers various kinds of sauced duck delicacies, managed by the second generation, Li Zu Qin. The restaurant emphasizes pure handmade cooking throughout the process. During the braising, a unique herbal medicine pack is added, allowing the sauced duck to be sweet without being cloying, with a meaty texture that is elastic and chewy. First, high-quality ducks are selected and simmered in a large pot for an hour to remove excess fat, then slowly cooked with herbs, rock sugar, soy sauce, wine, ginger, and other seasonings over low heat. The stewing liquid and the duck's original juice are simmered down to a concentrated sauce, which is repeatedly drizzled over the duck.
