Ergeshan Mountain System Trail Introduction

Erge Mountain Hiking Trail is located at the boundary of Ayangou Industrial Road and Wenshan District (opposite the entrance of Monkey Mountain). Erge Mountain is only a line away from Monkey Mountain, with its hiking entrance located directly across from Monkey Mountain's entrance. Also known as Shijianshan, Erge Mountain has an elevation of 678 meters and is a popular hiking route due to its expansive views. The trail is composed of stone steps and natural earth paths, and at the summit of Erge Mountain, there is a uniquely designed wooden pavilion. From here, one can overlook not only the skyscrapers of Taipei City but also gaze at Wuzhishan and Qixingshan in the distance. Hiking Erge Mountain allows you to enjoy a primitive forest bath and the pleasure of climbing, as the shaded pathways are dense with trees, and the trails provide a challenging experience, leading to Muzha along the way.
