Ergeshan Mountain Range Trail Introduction

Erge Mountain Trail is located at the intersection of Ayang Soft Industry Road and Wenshan District (opposite the entrance to Hou Shan Yue). Erge Mountain is only separated from Hou Shan Yue by a narrow line, with its trailhead located directly across from the Hou Shan Yue trailhead. Erge Mountain, also known as Shijianshan, has an elevation of 678 meters and is a popular hiking route due to its expansive views. The trail is composed of stone steps and natural dirt paths. At the summit of Erge Mountain, there is a uniquely designed wooden pavilion where visitors can enjoy views not only of the tall buildings in Taipei City but also of Wuzhishan and Qixingshan in the distance. Hiking to Erge Mountain allows one to enjoy a pristine forest bath and the thrill of hiking, with dense foliage and challenging trails along the way, leading all the way to Muzha.
