Dasi Metasequoia Park Introduction
The Araucaria Park is divided into areas based on the concepts of "hospitality, water channel, and camphor forest." At the entrance, there are informational signs introducing the pond cypress species and the origin of the local name "Banaziliao." Since 35% of Daxi's population belongs to the Hakka ethnic group, there is a plaza featuring Hakka and indigenous imagery. Additionally, the park has designed a red brick restroom that symbolizes Hakka architectural craftsmanship, along with a camphor tree observation platform, children's playground equipment, a Hakka pavilion, waterfront area, parking lot, and a granary management office. The overall environment is friendly, greatly enhancing the convenience for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. At the same time, the park is home to many osmanthus and gardenia flowers, making it a park full of cultural and natural vibes.
