Daxi Metasequoia Park Introduction
The Cypress Park is divided into spaces based on the concepts of "hospitality, waterways, and camphor tree forest." At the entrance, there is an information board introducing the cypress tree species and explaining the origin of the local name "Fanliliao." Since 35% of the population in Daxi is of Hakka ethnicity, there is also a square featuring Hakka and indigenous imagery. In addition, the park features a red brick restroom symbolizing Hakka architectural craftsmanship, along with a camphor tree observation deck, children's play facilities, a Hakka pavilion, waterfront areas, a parking lot, and a granary management office. The overall environment is friendly and significantly enhances the convenience for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. Furthermore, many osmanthus and gardenia flowers are planted throughout the park, making it a place filled with cultural and natural atmosphere.
