Daxi Cypress Park Introduction
The Luyuan Forest Park is divided into different areas based on the concepts of "hospitality, aqueducts, and camphor tree forests." At the entrance, there are information boards introducing the Dawn Redwood species and explaining the origin of the local place name, Banliao. Since 35% of Daxi's population is of Hakka descent, there is also a Hakka and indigenous imagery plaza. Additionally, the park features a red brick restroom symbolizing Hakka architectural craftsmanship, along with a camphor tree observation deck, children's playground, Hakka pavilion, waterfront, parking lot, and a barn management office. The overall environment is friendly, greatly enhancing the convenience for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. At the same time, the park is home to many osmanthus and gardenia flowers, making it a place rich in cultural and natural ambiance.
