Taoyuan: Shousin Wuyin City Introduction

The effective period for evaluation is from 2023/05/29 to 2026/05/28, and the excellent period is from 2022/08/19 to 2025/08/18. The "Shousin Wuyin City" in Longtan, Taoyuan, is set to become the most distinctive tourist factory in Taiwan. It represents a new highlight in Taoyuan's industrial tourism and is the most iconic characteristic venue. The entire plan is themed around the mythological stories of Kamakura, Japan, resembling the layout of an ancient Japanese castle, integrating the spirit of the enterprise, industrial culture, and products into the story framework, aimed at enhancing diverse industrial tourism concepts and reshaping the new industrial value of tourist factories. The site design also takes the Edo period as its backdrop, creating the silhouette of Wuyin City and the Edo old street. Large-scale installation art concepts are planned, including a samurai helmet and armor as the welcoming gate, a 360° circular LED theater, a circular path of thousand torii gates, a kaleidoscope slope design, a magical candy treasure chest, and creative installation art of Tengu, all of which overturn conventional tourist factory thinking. The panoramic glass window production line allows a complete view of the fully automated Japanese pastry production equipment (the only one in Taiwan). The ninja training dojo experience will enrich DIY content and knowledge. The light meal desserts at the Wuyin Tea House are also a must-try delicious treat. The traditional market embodies the meaning of a city by continuously creating change, and "Shousin Wuyin City" will take you through the nostalgic and simple town market, allowing you to feel the traces of historical years... Experience the traditional cultural understanding of the Japanese confectionery market below Edo Castle a century ago, and feel the emotions brought by the intersection of time and space—definitely worth savoring.
