139 Cycle Route (Huān 1-25 Zhongzhangtou Circular Route) Introduction
The most classic cycling route in Changhua, which attracts cyclists from various regions during weekends, is a favorite section for many cycling enthusiasts and a must-ride route for cycling competitions. Highway 139 is located in the heart of the Baguashan mountain range, which boasts rich ecological changes throughout the four seasons: eagles in March, butterflies in April, and Tung blossoms in May. The long rows of small-leaved chaulmoogra trees on either side create a green tunnel, with the gentle breeze causing the branches to sway, letting sunlight filter through, as if stepping into a foreign world. The various seasonal appearances of the Taiwanese acacia trees further enhance the scenery. Here, you can ride at a leisurely pace, enjoy the gentle breeze, and take in the breathtaking views of Changhua's mountains. Along the way, there are farms, orchards, scenic restaurants, and quaint cafes, making it an ideal spot whether you want to ride leisurely, enjoy encounters with adorable animals, or indulge in a relaxing afternoon tea experience! This is a place where you can have fun all day long. ★ Approximately 22.2 kilometers (Changhua section) ★ There is a significant elevation difference, so a certain level of fitness and mountain biking experience is required.
