The creamy white flowers of the striped trumpet tree cover the sky like clouds, interwoven with pink bracts, resembling cherry blossoms with their vibrant beauty. It has a romantic nickname, "Peach Blossom Rain Tree," and its blooming period lasts for 45 days. Recently, it has become a favorite among flower enthusiasts. The striped trumpet tree in Ershui is located along the Ershui Bicycle Path in the Yuanchuan section, close to the Jiji Line tracks, rivaling the cherry blossoms along the Alishan Railway. During the blooming season, it creates quite a stir, attracting visitors from all over to witness its breathtaking beauty, akin to fireworks and as dazzling as stars. The moment when the small train rounds the bend is particularly highlight, as one watches the train glide into the lush floral landscape, passing by and slowly fading away. Ershui Flowering Trumpet Tree, located on County Road 152 in Ershui Township of Changhua County, is a row of street trees along the Ershui Bicycle Path. The flowering trees concentrate from Ershui Station to about 500 meters before Ershui Police Station, with over 60 trumpet trees that often bloom in March and April, creating a dreamlike view of intertwining pale pink and peach blossoms. Moreover, this row of flowering trees is close to the Jiji Line railway and forms a near S-shaped curve, where flower watchers often wait at the best vantage points, eagerly anticipating as trains gradually emerge through the blossoms resembling cherry and peach flowers. They watch the train navigate through the curve, passing by, then turn 180 degrees to visually follow the train as it slowly curves away, eventually disappearing into a landscape of blossoms.
