Wushi Harbour Introduction

Wushi Nose is located in Nanfang'ang Village, Changbin Township, extending into the sea as a cape. It is named for its resemblance to a human nose protruding outward when viewed from a distance. The charming Wushi Nose features the largest columnar basalt formation in Taiwan, with its dark rock protruding from the sea, a product of volcanic activity and lava eruptions. The area around Wushi Nose boasts a diverse intertidal ecosystem and coastal erosion landforms, and the nearby waters are rich in plankton and fish, making it a paradise for reef fishing and diving on the East Coast. Particularly in February, during the season for catching white mullet, the coast is filled with anglers, each with a rod enjoying the fun of fishing.
