Cape Wushi Introduction

Wushi Nose is located in the Nanfang'ningpu Village of Changbin Township, extending into the sea as a cape. It is named after its resemblance to a human nose protruding outwards when viewed from a distance. The charming Wushi Nose features the largest columnar basalt formation in Taiwan, with its dark rock body emerging from the sea, formed by volcanic lava eruptions. Surrounding Wushi Nose is a diverse intertidal ecosystem and coastal landforms, coupled with the nearby rich plankton and fish, making it a paradise for rock fishing and diving along the East Coast. Especially in February, during the white hair fishing season, one can see anglers lining the coast, each with a rod enjoying the thrill of fishing.
