Ziping Introduction
Ziping is located at the southernmost part of Green Island, adjacent to the "Green Island Camping Area." From the trail next to the camping area, one can access the lagoon "Ziping" by the coast. Ziping is a tidal pool formed by coral reefs and is known for being one of the famous lagoons on Green Island. It features the most complete lagoon terrain on the island as well as a diverse coral reef community, alongside lush plants of seagrass and precious land hermit crabs. Despite the turbulent waves from the open sea, the inner lagoon remains as smooth as a mirror, resembling a tranquil lake, gently lying between the outer coral reefs and the inner sandy beaches. The reflection of the seagrass bushes dances on the calm water surface, while the pristine and fine white sand lines the bottom. The captivating beauty of the tropical coastline is truly mesmerizing.
