Ziping Introduction
Ziping is located at the southernmost part of Green Island, adjacent to the "Green Island Camping Area." From the trail next to the camping area, one can reach the lagoon called "Ziping." "Ziping" is a tidal pool formed by coral reefs and is home to the most complete lagoon topography and coral reef assemblages on Green Island, as well as abundant vegetation like sea grass and precious land hermit crabs. Despite the rough waves in the open sea, the inner lagoon remains as calm as a mirror, resembling a tranquil lake, gently nestled between the outer coral reef rocks and the inner coral sand beach; the reflection of the sea grass thicket appears on the still water surface, with fine white sand spread across the bottom. The enchanting scene of the tropical coastline speaks for itself.
