Sailboat Nose Prairie Introduction
Entering through the small path next to the ticket office of Zhaori Hot Spring and walking along the trail, you will arrive at the plain known as "Cape of the Sailboat" (帆船鼻草原), which is famous for its "Green Island Carpet." Cape of the Sailboat is located at the southeast corner of Green Island, where the flat marine plateau is covered in lush green grass, creating a stunning view where the green and blue seemingly have no end against the backdrop of the azure sky and sea. The cliffs at the edge of the grassland offer a vantage point to overlook Zhaori Hot Spring and Haisanping, making it one of the best spots on Green Island to enjoy the sunrise and moonrise while basking in the sea breeze. Looking north from Cape of the Sailboat, you can see the cliffs and rugged rocks along the coastline of Haisanping in the distance; nearby, you can overlook the hot spring pools and modern facilities of Zhaori Hot Spring from a high vantage point; to the west lies the vast coral skirts of Baisha Bay. On clear days, at the southern horizon, you can see Orchid Island, making it an excellent spot for sunrise viewing on Green Island, with its enchanting scenery leaving a lasting impression.
