Sailing Nose Prairie Introduction
By walking along the path next to the ticket booth of the Sunrise Hot Spring, you will reach the Shitiping Grassland, known as the "Green Island Carpet." Shitiping is located at the southeastern tip of Green Island, where the flat coastal plateau is covered with lush green grass, creating a stunning scenery with the surrounding blue sky and sea, giving the impression of an endless expanse of green and blue. The cliffs at the edge of the grassland provide a vantage point to overlook the Sunrise Hot Spring and Haisanping, making it one of the best spots on Green Island to enjoy the sunrise and moonrise while basking in the sea breeze. Looking north from Shitiping, you can see the coastal cliffs and dramatic rock formations around Haisanping standing along the coast. Nearby, you can overlook the hot spring pools and modern facilities of the Sunrise Hot Spring from a height. To the west lies the vast coral reef of Baisha Bay, and on clear days, you can spot Orchid Island at the southern horizon, making it an excellent location for sunrise viewing on Green Island, with its beautiful scenery leaving visitors mesmerized.
