Sailboat Nose Grassland Introduction
Walking through the small path next to the ticket booth of Zhaori Hot Springs and following the trail upward, you will arrive at the Sail Cape Grassland, famously known as the "Green Island Carpet." Sail Cape is located at the southeast corner of Green Island, where the flat coastal plateau is covered with lush grass. The stunning scenery created by the surrounding blue skies and ocean seems to have no end in sight. The cliffs at the edge of the grassland offer a bird's eye view of Zhaori Hot Springs and Haisan Ping, making it one of the best spots on Green Island to enjoy the sunrise, moonrise, and the sea breeze. Looking north from Sail Cape, you can see the coastal cliffs and steep rocky formations of Haisan Ping in the distance, while the nearby hot spring pools and modern facilities of Zhaori Hot Springs can be observed from above. To the west, the vast coral reefs of Bashawan stretch out, and on clear days, you can spot Lanyu at the southern horizon, making it an excellent spot for sunrise viewing on Green Island. The enchanting scenery is sure to leave visitors mesmerized.
