Sailboat Nose Grassland Introduction
Walking along the path beside the ticket booth of the Sunrise Hot Springs, one can ascend the trail to reach the "Green Island Carpet," known as the Cape of the Sailboat. The Cape is located at the southeastern tip of Green Island, featuring a flat coastal plateau that is covered in lush green grass. The scenery here, with the blue skies and azure seas surrounding it, offers a stunning view with no visible end to the greenery and blue. The cliffs at the edge of the prairie provide a vantage point to overlook the Sunrise Hot Springs and the Seaside Leisure Area, making it one of the best spots on Green Island for enjoying sunrises and moonrises while basking in the sea breeze. Looking north from the Cape, one can see the dramatic cliffs and peculiar rock formations around the Seaside Leisure Area standing tall along the coastline. Close by, there are sweeping views of the hot spring pools and modern facilities of the Sunrise Hot Springs. To the west lies the vast coral reef of Bashawan. On clear days, the southern horizon meets the sky where Orchid Island can be seen, making it an excellent spot for sunrise viewing on Green Island; the beautiful scenery is unforgettable.
