Pug Dog and Sleeping Beauty Rock Introduction
Hai Chengping is located in the middle section of the eastern coast of Green Island. Due to the reef topography and the erosive action of seawater, it is dotted with奇岩 and has beautiful scenery that attracts many travelers. Visitors can walk along the trail known as the "Little Great Wall," go to the viewing pavilion to see the pure white waves crashing against the coral reef in the crescent-shaped bay, or gaze at Sleeping Beauty Rock and Pug Rock. The stunning view made up of green land, sandy beaches, bays, and blue sea makes it hard to look away, prompting continuous admiration for nature's handiwork and creating beautiful memories. The "Little Great Wall" trail is 400 meters long, taking about 20 minutes for a round trip. The trail is built on the northern slope of Hai Chengping, winding up along the ridges with stone steps. From a distance, it resembles a miniature version of the Great Wall. Walking along this trail, surrounded by breathtaking views, is truly refreshing. Additionally, at the southern cliff of Hai Chengping, there is a solitary sea-eroded column that, from a distance, resembles Confucius facing the wall in contemplation, hence it is named "Confucius Rock."
