Xiuguluan River Visitor Center Introduction
The Xiuguluan River Visitor Center is located next to the Ruisui Bridge in the Huadong Valley, serving as the starting point for rafting activities on the Xiuguluan River. There is a camping area next to the visitor center, which attracts a large number of visitors during the rafting season. [Driving Info] Heading south: Take Provincial Highway 9 south from Hualien City, passing Fenglin and Guangfu, to reach the Ruisui Rafting Service Center; or take Provincial Highway 11 south, passing Yuedong, and then connect to Ruigang Road to reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. Heading north: Take Provincial Highway 9 north from Taitung City, passing Yuli, to reach the Ruisui Rafting Service Center; or take Provincial Highway 11 north, passing the Tropic of Cancer monument, and then connect to Ruigang Road to reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. [Public Transportation] Heading south: Take a bus from in front of Hualien Train Station to Fuli or Yuli, and get off at Ruisui Station. Heading north: Take a train from in front of Taitung Train Station to Hualien on the mountain line, and get off at Ruisui Station.
