Siouguluan River Visitor Center Introduction
The Xiuguluan River Visitor Center is located next to the Ruisui Bridge in the Huadong Valley. It serves as the starting point for rafting activities on the Xiuguluan River. There is a camping area next to the visitor center, and during the rafting season, it attracts many visitors. [Driving Directions] Heading south: Drive south along Provincial Highway 9 from Hualien City, passing Fenglin and Guangfu, to reach the Ruisui Rafting Service Center; or take Provincial Highway 11 south, passing the Yuedong area, then connect to Ruigang Road to also reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. Heading north: From Taitung City, drive north along Provincial Highway 9, passing Yuli to reach the Ruisui Rafting Service Center; or take Provincial Highway 11 north, passing the Tropic of Cancer monument, then connect to Ruigang Road to reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. [Public Transportation] Heading south: Take a bus to Fuli or Yuli from in front of Hualien Train Station and get off at Ruisui Station. Heading north: Take the mountain line train from in front of Taitung Train Station to Hualien and get off at Ruisui Station.
