The visitor center is located next to the Ruisui Bridge in the East Rift Valley, serving as the starting point for the Xiuguluan River rafting activities. The original Xiuguluan River Visitor Center building has been demolished and is currently undergoing reconstruction.

Xiuguluan River Visitor Center Introduction

Xiuguluan River Visitor Center is located beside the Ruisi Bridge in the Hualien-Taitung Valley, serving as the starting point for rafting activities on the Xiuguluan River. Next to the visitor center, there is a camping area, and during the rafting season, the site is bustling with tourists. [Driving Information] Southbound: From Hualien City, take National Highway 9 south, passing through Fenglin and Guangfu to reach the Ruisi rafting service center; or take National Highway 11 south, after passing the Yuandong Cave, connect to Ruigang Road to reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. Northbound: From Taitung City, take National Highway 9 north, after passing Yuli, you will reach the Ruisi rafting service center; or take National Highway 11 north, after passing the Tropic of Cancer monument, connect to Ruigang Road to reach the Xiuguluan River Visitor Center. [Public Transportation] Southbound: Take the bus from in front of Hualien Train Station to Fuli or Yuli, and get off at Ruisi Station. Northbound: Take the mountain line bus from in front of Taitung Train Station to Hualien, and get off at Ruisi Station.
