Xiuguluan River Introduction

The Xiuguluan River, approximately 104 kilometers long, originates from the Central Mountain Range and is the longest river in eastern Taiwan. It flows through the Coast Mountain Range and into the sea. The long-term erosion and cutting by the river have created numerous steep canyons, causing meandering patterns, river terraces, and other geographical features. The sedimentary rocks on both sides of the mountain have been sculpted into a variety of stunning landscapes, with a group of massive stones known as "Emperor Stones" that are as white as jade and have picturesque patterns, commonly referred to as "Xiuguluan's Rinsing Jade."
