Xiao Men Village, Tie Shua Stone Tower Introduction

Shigandang Appearance: Tower-shaped Shigandang Monument Inscription: Symbol Total Height: 2.30 meters Circumference: 5.70 meters Construction Form: Conical Shape Top Ornament: Bottle-shaped Xiaomen Village is commonly referred to as "Wangxing Qishan." The villagers chose to settle in the low-lying area according to the mountain's contours, hence the tower was built to guard against mountain spirits and prevent the intrusion of negative energy into the village. Another story suggests that a villager with the surname Xu took a hoe to dig on this hillside, which disturbed the mountain spirit, leading to his mental instability and nonsensical speech. Following the guidance of the local deity Wangye, a stone tower was established to suppress the mountain spirit and protect the residents' safety. The Shige Stone Tower is located on the western hillside of Xiaomen Village and serves as a guide for fishing boats entering and exiting the harbor.
