Xiaomen Village, Iron Sculpture Stone Tower Introduction

Shigandan Appearance: Tower-shaped Shigandan Monument Inscription: Symbol Total Height: 2.30M Circumference: 5.70M Construction Form: Conical Shape Tower Top Ornament: Bottle-shaped Located in Xiaomen Village, locally known as "Wangxing Qishan," the villagers chose a low-lying area to settle according to the mountain's topography. Therefore, they built the tower to protect the mountain spirits and prevent negative energies from invading the village. Another theory suggests that a villager with the surname Hsu dug into the hillside with a hoe, provoking the mountain spirits, which led to his mental instability and incoherence. Following the guidance of Wang Ye from Wengfu, a stone tower was erected to suppress the mountain spirit and to ensure the safety of the residents. The Shatuoshu Stone Tower is situated on the hillside west of Xiaomen Village and serves to guide fishing boats in and out of the fishing port.
