Small Door Village, Iron Moulding Stone Tower Introduction
Xiao Men Village is geographically surrounded by what is commonly known as "Wangxing Qishan." The villagers chose to settle in low-lying areas and built towers to guard the mountain spirits, preventing negative energy from invading the village. Another story suggests that a villager with the surname Xu took a hoe to dig on this hillside, which disturbed the mountain spirits, causing him to go insane and speak incoherently. Following the guidance of the local deity, the Wang Ye from Wengu Temple, a stone tower was erected to suppress the mountain spirits and protect the residents. The Iron Decaying Stone Tower is located on a hill to the west of Xiao Men Village, serving to guide fishing boats in and out of the fishing port.
