Tianxing Kiln Ceramic Cultural Park Introduction

Tianxing Kiln is located beside the beautiful Jiji Green Tunnel. Established in 1956, it is a uniquely styled kiln and is the oldest kiln in Taiwan that still primarily focuses on production. It still retains a original kiln. To help visitors understand the history of the kiln more quickly, a Ceramic Source Alley has been constructed, showcasing products produced by Tianxing Kiln from ancient times to the present, as well as the development of pottery. It is hoped that visitors will gain a clear understanding of the development of modern ceramic art in Taiwan during their visit. Currently, in addition to continuing to develop ceramic production and actively promoting preservation work, it is also striving to advance the "Jiji Township Ceramic Art Development Project," achieving notable results. There is also a pottery classroom set up, welcoming visitors to enjoy the joy of pottery making.
