Tianxing Kiln陶藝 Culture Park Introduction
Tianxing Kiln is located next to the beautiful Jiji Green Tunnel and was established in 1956. It is a uniquely styled and one of the oldest kilns in Taiwan that still primarily focuses on production. The kiln has preserved its original kiln structure. To help visitors better understand the history of the kiln, a Ceramic Source Alley has been built, showcasing products made by Tianxing Kiln from ancient times to the present, as well as the development of ceramics. This allows visitors to gain a clear insight into the modern development of ceramic art in Taiwan during their visit. In addition to continuing the production of ceramics and actively promoting heritage work, Tianxing Kiln is also vigorously and continuously advancing the "Jiji Town Ceramic Art Development Project," achieving notable success. Furthermore, a pottery classroom is set up, welcoming visitors to enjoy the joy of pottery making.
