Tianxing Kiln Pottery Culture Park Introduction
Tianxing Kiln is located next to the beautiful Jiji Green Tunnel and was established in 1956. It is a unique kiln that remains among the oldest in Taiwan, still primarily focused on production, and it retains a kiln from its founding. To help visitors better understand the history of the kiln, a Ceramic Origin Alley has been built, showcasing products produced by Tianxing Kiln from ancient times to the present, as well as the development of ceramics. It is hoped that visitors will gain a clear understanding of the modern development of pottery in Taiwan during their visit. In addition to continuing the development of ceramic production and actively promoting heritage work, there is also an ongoing initiative to advance the "Jiji Town Ceramic Town Project," which has achieved notable results. A pottery studio is also available, welcoming visitors to enjoy the pleasure of pottery making.
