Giant Sun Moon Lake Station Introduction
Giant Bicycles Leisure Service Station: The Giant Global Flagship Store is located at Sun Moon Lake! The Giant store is situated on the first floor of the Shuishe Comprehensive Plaza. Tourists taking Taiwan Tourist Shuttle can get off at Sun Moon Lake (Shuishe) Station and will see the Shuishe Comprehensive Plaza (located directly across from the police station); for those driving, vehicles can be parked in the Shuishe Zhongxing Parking Lot, then it's a 3-minute walk to rent bicycles. In recent years, Sun Moon Lake has been actively promoting bicycle activities, and since 2008, Giant has further collaborated with the Sun Moon Lake Administration to establish a global flagship store here, offering exclusive services not available elsewhere, such as renting bicycles worth up to NT$150,000, bicycles equipped with satellite positioning systems and emergency call systems, and awarding certificates to those who successfully complete the lake loop (with signatures from the administration and the director). Next to the bike station, the administration has also thoughtfully provided shower facilities, public restrooms, and a dedicated bike lane system map, ensuring that both challengers and leisure cyclists leave satisfied. During the annual autumn International Fireworks and Music Festival, rental discounts are offered to foreign visitors, which can be applied for at the store. Rental Service: Renting requires a valid ID (national ID card, driver's license, health insurance card); foreigners need a passport or resident certificate, and no deposit is required. Renewed rental fees can be found on the in-store announcement of prices (varies by bike type). Rentals come with complimentary items: safety helmet, bottled water, roadside assistance, and bike lock. In-store services provided for free include: storage space, comfortable rest area for cyclists, wireless internet, and production of the lake loop certificate (for those who rent bikes at Giant Sun Moon Lake Station and complete a circuit around the lake).
