Tutiangzi Trail Introduction
Tutingzi was once the site of the Shahu Indigenous people's stone printing society, and it is now a sacred place for the Shi clan's ancestors. The trail is designed with the image of the owl, the auspicious symbol of the Shahu people. Traveling south from Sun Moon Village for four kilometers, visitors will arrive at a pavilion located at the junction of Shaba Mountain and Qitonglun, where the entrance featuring the owl statue can be found. Elevated wooden walkways are constructed to protect the existing terrain and vegetation, with numerous informational signs along the way that provide explanations about Shahu culture. At the end of the trail, an observation tower is set up for views of the distant mountains and water in the south, north, and west.
