Checheng Station Introduction
Checheng is the terminal station of the Jiji Line, hence it is known as the "Last Train Station." The original train station had a reinforced concrete structure, but after the 921 earthquake, it was renovated by the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area administration, adopting wood as the primary exterior material. The new train station features simple materials and elegant design, with a unique architectural style that harmonizes beautifully with the mountainous landscape, earning it the title of "Most Beautiful Train Station."
