Checheng Station Introduction
Checheng is the terminal station of the Jiji Line, hence it is known as the "Last Train Station." The old train station originally had a reinforced concrete structure, but after the 921 earthquake, it was renovated by the Nantou District Office of the Tourism Bureau, with wood as the main exterior material. The new train station features simple materials and an elegant design, with a unique architectural style that harmoniously blends with the mountain town scenery, earning it the title of "the most beautiful train station."
