Railway Tourism School Introduction
Originally the Checheng Elementary School, it was closed in 2015 due to declining birth rates. Subsequently, the school building was left unused for many years, and the existing tourist center had limited space. After discussions between the Administration of the National Scenic Area and the community, plans were made to revitalize the school building and establish a Railway Elementary School and a new Checheng Tourist Center to enhance tourism services. The spacious school playground is used as a turning area for tour buses.
