Railway Tourism Elementary School Introduction
Originally the Checheng Elementary School, it was closed in 2015 due to declining birth rates. The campus was left idle for many years, and the existing visitor center had limited space. After discussions with the local community and the Tourism Bureau, plans were made to revitalize the school building and establish a Railway Elementary School and a new Checheng Visitor Center to enhance tourism services. The spacious school playground will serve as a turning area for tour buses.
