Railway Tourism School Introduction
Originally a primary school, Checheng Elementary School was closed in 2015 due to declining birth rates. The school facilities remained idle for many years, and the existing visitor center had limited space. After discussions between the administration and the community, plans were made to revitalize the old school buildings and establish a Railway Academy and a new Checheng Visitor Center to expand tourism services. The spacious school playground will be used as a turnaround space for tour buses.
