Bony Bay (originally Characteristic Study Abroad Center) Introduction
The Sun Moon Lake Specialty Study Center is located within the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area and was formerly Guangming Elementary School. After the school was merged in 2008, the Sun Moon Lake Administration actively sought to revitalize the school site, transforming it into the Sun Moon Lake Specialty Study Center. In 2023, the center was operated by the Chien Ai Music Cultural Foundation, which has long been dedicated to arts and cultural education and promotion. The center will collaborate with local experimental educational institutions and performing arts groups from Nantou to conduct life and music experience camps. It aims to bring music, nature, and culture back to simplicity in this tranquil natural environment and integrate them back into everyone's lives.
