Fenchihu Village Circular Trail System: The section of the Shalin Trail - Old Old Street branch and some parts of the wooden horse plank road are currently undergoing construction improvements. Visitors are advised to take alternative routes as directed on-site. The area commonly known as "Lower Shop" (老老街) began to take shape even before the establishment of the railway and highway, and was originally a gathering place for businesses in Fenchihu. Walking into the small path in front of the left side of Zhonghe Police Station leads you to the Old Old Street, which still retains its old-style appearance today. Passing through the roof of "Quansheng Bamboo Shoot Processing Factory," you will find the northern entrance of the trail beside the factory. The industrial road that extends outward from the old settlement stretches all the way to the southernmost point by the Tudi Gong Temple, offering a leisurely and tranquil atmosphere as you stroll along. Fenchihu Village Trail System: The sections of the Shalin Trail - Laolao Street Branch and the wooden horse platform are currently undergoing construction improvements. Visitors are advised to follow on-site instructions for detours. Laolao Street, commonly known as "Xiajiao Dianzi," began to take shape before the railway and highway were established, serving as the initial gathering place for Fenchihu merchants. Entering the small path to the left in front of the Zhonghe Police Station leads you to Laolao Street, which still retains its old form and appearance. Passing through the shed of the "Quánlì Bamboo Shoot Processing Factory," you will find the northern entrance of the trail located next to the factory. The industrial road extends from the former settlement to the southernmost Land God Temple, providing a leisurely and tranquil atmosphere as you stroll through.
