Fenqihu Village Trail System: The section of the Shalin Trail - Old Street Branch and some parts of the Wooden Horse Boardwalk are currently undergoing improvements. Visitors are advised to follow on-site instructions for detours. The Old Street, commonly known as "Xiaojiaodian," began to take shape before the opening of the railway and roads, serving as the initial gathering place for businesses in Fenqihu. Entering the small path to the left in front of the Zhonghe Police Station leads you to the Old Street, which has maintained its old form to this day. Passing through the shed of the "Quanjia Bamboo Shoot Processing Factory," you will find the northern entrance of the trail next to the factory. The industrial road extends from the former settlement all the way to the southernmost Dadi Gong Temple, creating a leisurely and peaceful atmosphere. Fenchihu Village Trail System: The section of the Shalin Trail and the Laola Street branch is undergoing construction improvements, and visitors are advised to detour according to on-site instructions. Commonly known as "Xiajiaodianzi," Laola Street began to take shape before the establishment of the railway and highways, and it was the initial gathering place for Fenchihu merchants. Enter the small path in front of the Zhonghe Police Station, and you will find Laola Street, which still retains its old appearance. Passing through the roof of the "Quanjing Bamboo Shoot Processing Factory," you will find the north end entrance of the trail next to the factory. The industrial road extending outward from the former settlement leads to the southernmost Daitong Temple, allowing for a leisurely and tranquil atmosphere.
