Eucalyptus Tree Cultural Sharing Space Introduction

The Lianziqiao Cultural Sharing Space is located in Baolai Village, Liugui District, next to the Southern Cross-Island Highway. "Lianziqiao" means "under the mango tree" in Taiwanese. This cultural sharing space was created by the residents of Baolai, who worked together to transform an old warehouse using natural materials such as river stones, driftwood, rice husks, and straw, employing traditional building techniques. The Lianziqiao Cultural Sharing Space is managed by the Baolai Cultural Association in Kaohsiung City, adhering to the philosophy of "coexisting harmoniously with the earth." With a focus on "living," "ecology," and "production," it aims to promote community workshops targeting post-disaster reconstruction, welfare support, talent cultivation, and industrial development. The workshops primarily create pottery, plant dyes, and oven-baked bread, among other products. It is recommended to spend about 3 hours here. Visitors can make reservations in advance for experiential classes such as Baolai pottery, sun-dyed textiles, oven-baked bread, and oven-baked pizza, allowing them to deeply appreciate the philosophy of coexistence with nature through hands-on experiences.
