Xianzi Jiao Cultural Sharing Space Introduction

Lianzi Jiao Cultural Sharing Space is located in Baolai Village, Liugui District, next to the Southern Cross-Island Highway. "Lianzi Jiao" means "under the mango tree" in Taiwanese. This cultural sharing space was transformed from an old warehouse by the locals of Baolai, utilizing natural materials such as river stones, driftwood, rice husks, and straw, constructed using traditional methods. Lianzi Jiao Cultural Sharing Space is managed by the Baolai Cultural Association in Kaohsiung City, adhering to the philosophy of "harmonious coexistence with the earth," with development directions of "living," "ecology," and "production." The community workshop promotes post-disaster reconstruction, welfare care, talent cultivation, and industrial development, focusing on industries such as pottery, plant dyeing, and kiln-baked bread. The recommended stay is about 3 hours. Visitors can make a reservation in advance to experience Baolai pottery, daily dyeing, kiln-baked bread, and kiln-baked pizza through hands-on learning experiences, enhancing the understanding of the concept of coexisting with nature.
