Xiantian Temple is located in Dongshih Harbor, Chiayi County, and has a history of over three hundred years. The temple is built facing the sea, featuring a majestic exterior, and serves as a faith center for local fishermen. It enshrines various deities, including Wufu Qiansui, Baosheng Dadi, and Jifu Qiansui. The Wang Boat Festival, held every five years, is the most important ceremony at Xiantian Temple, commemorating the arrival of the Wang Boat from Waisan Island. Additionally, the Lantern Riddles event, which lasts for three days during the Lantern Festival each year, is another century-old tradition of Xiantian Temple. The abundant prizes attract many people to join in the celebration annually.
