Xiantian Temple is located in Dongshih Harbor, Chiayi County, and has a history of over 300 years. The temple, built facing the sea, has a majestic appearance and serves as a faith center for local fishermen. It enshrines deities such as Wufu Qiansui, Baosheng Dadi, and Jifu Qiansui. The Wang Boat Festival, held every five years, is the most important celebration of Xiantian Temple, commemorating the Wang boat brought from the Outer Sankan Archipelago. Additionally, the Lantern Riddle Guessing event is held for three days during the Lantern Festival every year, which is another century-old tradition of Xiantian Temple. The generous prizes attract many people to participate each year.
