The Xuantian Temple is located in Dongshi Harbor, Chiayi County, and has a history of over 300 years. The temple, built facing the sea, boasts a magnificent appearance and serves as a center of faith for local fishermen. The temple houses deities such as Wufu Qiansui, Baosheng Dadi, and Jifu Qiansui. The Wang Boat Festival, held every five years, commemorates the arrival of the Wang Boat from Waisanting Island and is the temple's most important festival. Additionally, the lantern riddle guessing event, held for three consecutive days during the Lantern Festival each year, is another century-old tradition of Xuantian Temple, attracting many participants with its abundant prizes.
