Xikou Township Cultural Center Introduction
A brand new cultural center Before the establishment of the Xikou Township Cultural and Life Center, the public buildings in Xikou Township, Chiayi County that the locals were most familiar with were the township office and the elementary and junior high schools they attended. These buildings bear the responsibility of serving the community, but it's hard to say that people would willingly say, "Let's go and stroll around the township office." Such types of public buildings fulfill practical business needs, while the cultural center serves as a place of spiritual solace. In this culturally rich agricultural town, the Xikou Township Library is an important provider of cultural resources; however, due to the limitation of small space, there have been discussions about renovations. Starting from the transformation of the library's functions, the new Xikou Township Cultural and Life Center, located next to Xikou Elementary School, was constructed beginning in 2005 and was completed on December 28, 2007. It is the new gem of Xikou Township.
