Xikou Township Cultural Center Introduction
A brand new cultural center Before the establishment of the Xikou Township Cultural Center, the most familiar public buildings to the residents of Xikou Township in Chiayi County were the township office and the elementary and junior high schools they once attended. These buildings serve the responsibility of providing services to the residents, but it's hard to say if they can or are willing to gather and stroll around the township office during leisure time. These types of public buildings cater to practical business needs, while the cultural center fulfills the role of a spiritual solace. In this culturally rich agricultural town, the Xikou Township Library is an important provider of cultural resources, but it faced issues due to limited space, prompting discussions about reconstruction. By rethinking the functions of the library, it aims to provide diverse and multifaceted cultural possibilities. The Xikou Township Cultural Center, located next to Xikou Elementary School, began construction in 2005 and was completed on December 28, 2007. It is a new treasure for Xikou Township.
