Xikou Township Cultural Living Hall Introduction
A brand new cultural center Before the establishment of the Xikou Township Cultural Life Center, the public buildings most familiar to the residents of Xikou Township in Chiayi County were the township office and the elementary and junior high schools they attended. These buildings serve the purpose of providing services to the residents, but it's hard to say that people would casually agree to meet at the township office just to stroll around. Such public buildings fulfill practical service needs, while the spiritual support comes from cultural centers. In this culturally rich agricultural town, the Xikou Township Library is an important provider of cultural resources; however, due to limited space, there was a proposal for renovations. Starting from the idea of transforming the library's functions, the aim is to create a multifaceted and complex cultural space. Located next to Xikou Elementary School, the Xikou Township Cultural Life Center began construction in 2005 and was completed on December 28, 2007, becoming a new gem of Xikou Township.
