Xikou Township Cultural Life Hall Introduction
A brand new cultural center Before the establishment of the Xikou Township Cultural and Lifestyle Center, the public buildings in Xikou Township, Chiayi County, that the residents were most familiar with were the township office and the elementary and junior high schools they attended. These buildings fulfill the responsibility of serving the residents, but outside of official business, it is hard to say that people would willingly meet up for a walk or a browse at the township office. Such public buildings are primarily for practical needs, while the cultural center serves as a spiritual refuge. In this culturally rich agricultural town, the Xikou Township Library is an important provider of cultural resources, but it faces the challenge of limited space, prompting discussions on renovations. With the aim of transforming the library's functions and providing diverse and multifaceted cultural possibilities, the Xikou Township Cultural and Lifestyle Center, located next to Xikou Elementary School, began construction in 2005 and was completed on December 28, 2007, becoming the new gem of Xikou Township.
