Crossroad Railway Introduction
The return of the Jiji Line train in 2017 has been described as a "resurrection" after being out of service for 8 years due to the Typhoon Morakot. Once again, the sound of the train's whistle can be heard in the Ciziku community. Ciziku, located at the southern edge of Cizi Village in Alishan Township, used to be a key passage for north-south transportation among tribes. Historically, it served as a midway station to Alishan and a junction point for ancient trails leading to tribes such as Laiji, Dabang, and TeFuYe. With the completion of the railway, it has become a transportation hub for the northern and southern areas of Alishan Township.
