Cengwen Temple Seven Treasures Pagoda Introduction
In October 1967, the construction of the Zengwen Reservoir began, located in the prime area of Dapu Township, known for producing high-quality rice. After the land for the reservoir was expropriated, there remained approximately 2,700 unclaimed graves in the submerged area. As a result, the government provided partial funding and collaborated with local residents to raise donations to build the Zengwen Temple Seven Treasures Pagoda on the left side of the township office to house these unclaimed remains. This initiative was aligned with the development of tourism in Dapu Township, and the pagoda was renovated to become a religious tourism site.
