Changhua Bombax Flower Season Introduction
Dongluo River in Changhua County features a 5-kilometer stretch of over 600 kapok trees planted along the riverside road from Pitou to Erlin, creating the longest and most spectacular kapok flower path in the country. In March, the flowers bloom in fiery red, forming a continuous orange-red tunnel. The kapok flower paths of Pitou and Erlin are interconnected, with the branches adorned with flowers that seem to set the sky ablaze. On one side, the vibrant green rice fields contrast beautifully, while on the other, the gentle flow of Dongluo River reflects the dreamy scenery, attracting flower enthusiasts from all over the country. The kapok flower secret spot in Zhutang is smaller in scale but requires crossing a levee to enter the middle of the fields, offering a sense of privacy and becoming one of the most popular spring spots.
