Taiwan Tallow Tree Green Tunnel Introduction
On the right bank of the Dongluo River, two rows of Taiwanese golden shower trees (from Daima Bridge to County Road 148) create a 1.5-kilometer-long green tunnel, showcasing different appearances throughout the year. In spring, the trees are lush and green, while from September to October, they are in full bloom, with yellow petals falling like a golden rain. The fallen petals evolve into fruits, changing from bright red to deep red and finally to purplish-red. The blooming and fruiting times vary, adorning the golden shower trees in a colorful display. Late summer to early autumn is the most beautiful time for the green tunnel. After enjoying the flowers, visitors can indulge in the popular and frequently queued delicacy, Xihu lamb hot pot, or head to Wujia Noodle House for a DIY experience of noodle making culture.
