Taiwan Gum Tree Green Tunnel Introduction
The two rows of Taiwan Torreya trees on the right bank of Dongluo River (from Daima Bridge to County Road 148) form a 1.5-kilometer long green tunnel, showcasing different appearances throughout the four seasons. In spring, the trees are lush and vibrant; from September to October, during the blooming period, yellow petals fall like golden rain. The fallen petals develop into fruits, which transition from bright red to deep red and finally to purplish-red. The timing of flowering and fruiting varies, embellishing the Taiwan Torreya trees in a colorful display. Late summer to early autumn is the most beautiful time for this green tunnel. After enjoying the flowers, visitors can indulge in the popular and highly sought-after dish, Xihu Lamb Hot Pot, or experience DIY noodle-making at Wujia Noodle House.
