Tabebuia Avenue Introduction
The Acacia has been officially named as the Golden Shower Tree, with its blooming period occurring from May to June. In early summer, it fills the air with beautiful clusters of golden-yellow flowers that sway gently in the wind. The flowers resemble sweet pea blooms, and each individual flower is shaped like a small yellow butterfly. The long flower clusters can reach up to twenty centimeters in length. When petals fall with the breeze, they rain down like threads, earning it the nickname "Golden Rain." When sunlight shines down, it sparkles in a brilliant golden hue, and the golden flowers bloom beautifully against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. Suggested locations for flower viewing: <1> The riverside road along the left bank of Dongluo River from Wufenche Railway Bridge to Daima Bridge (at the junction of Erlin and Xiluo) features approximately 300 Acacia trees along a 1.5-kilometer stretch of the railway. Every year, from May to June, the trees hang with golden flower clusters, and as the southern winds blow, the petals dance down the entire path, creating a stunning sight akin to a shower of golden rain, making it one of Changhua's hidden spots for flower viewing. <2> Changhua High-Speed Rail Station - section of Station Area Road 1
