Bauhinia Variegata Flower Path Introduction
The golden shower tree, formally known as Cassia fistula, blooms in May and June, producing beautiful clusters of golden yellow flowers that sway in the breeze. The flowers resemble fragrant pea blossoms and the individual flowers look like small yellow butterflies. The long flowering clusters can reach up to twenty centimeters in length, and when the petals fall with the wind, it resembles a rain of gold, hence the name "Golden Rain." When the sunlight shines down, it creates a dazzling display of gold against the bright blue sky, as the golden flowers flourish beautifully. Recommended flower viewing spots: <1> The section from Wufenche Railway Bridge to Daima Bridge along the left bank of Dongluo River (located at the junction of Erlin and Xihu), which features a 1.5-kilometer riverside path along the left bank of Dongluo River from Daima Bridge to Xihu. There are nearly 300 golden shower trees that bloom from May to June, with branches hanging with golden flower clusters. As the southern winds blow, the petals dance along the entire roadway, resembling a shower of gold, making it one of the hidden gems for flower viewing in Changhua. <2> Changhua High-Speed Rail Station - Section 1 of Zhanzhu Road
