Ban Tiao Kiln Jiaozhi Cut and Paste Art Park Introduction
Bantao Kiln is located in a green rice field in Bantou Village, Xinguang Township. It was originally Yichang Ceramic Factory, the first in the country to use tunnel kiln technology for producing temple tiles and Tauffo pottery. Later, the "Bantao Kiln Cultural Museum" was established to promote Tauffo pottery culture, becoming a unique Tauffo pottery garden in Taiwan. The landscaping of Bantao Kiln combines craftsmanship and features a classical Chinese garden merged with Japanese architecture, creating a beautiful landscape. Visitors can experience Tauffo pottery tile DIY, as well as enjoy making mosaics, ceramic tile paintings, and colorful dishware. The finished painted dishware is fired in the tunnel kiln and can be mailed to visitors. Additionally, there is an outdoor café that offers accommodations and afternoon tea. At Bantao Kiln, one can not only learn about the process of creating a temple, experience Tauffo pottery production, but also appreciate the unique landscape and relaxation, feeling the cultural feast ignited by the collision of tradition and modernity, making it worth a visit.
