Qingzhen Hejiangcai - Shanmei's Kitchen Introduction

The 7th Gold Medal Gifts - Fermented Tofu, Buckwheat Noodles, Pickled Vegetables The 8th Gold Medal Gifts - Myanmar Shrimp Paste Muslim Restaurant (abbreviated as MR) is a Muslim-operated restaurant certified by the Chinese Islamic Association. Founded by overseas Chinese from Yunnan, Myanmar, it has been in Taiwan for over ten years. Due to a longing for the taste of home, they began personally fermenting Yunnan fermented tofu, buckwheat noodles, pickled vegetables, traditional fermented soybean cakes, and sharing them with friends and family, which helped build their reputation. For Yunnan families, every meal includes pickled vegetables, a natural fermented product that is also a health food. Among them, shrimp paste is an essential condiment in every household in Myanmar. Despite its small bottle, it has a long history. It is said that one year, an emperor, while on a military campaign, passed by a rural household that had no dishes on the table except for rice served with shrimp paste. Curiously, the emperor tried it, and upon returning to the palace felt that the food there was not to his taste. He then ordered that the entire family from that household be brought to the palace to prepare shrimp paste for him every day. Shelf life: 1 year.
