New Hundred King Restaurant Introduction
Established in 1979, New Bai Wang Restaurant is a renowned traditional Chinese restaurant in Taoyuan City, specializing in Hakka cuisine and seafood dishes. Over the years, it has received numerous awards, including being recognized as a Gold Medal Restaurant in Taoyuan City in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as receiving the Excellent Restaurant Award from the Taoyuan Citizen Card in 2015. Initially focused on reservations for formal banquets, New Bai Wang faced the dilemma of either transforming or maintaining its traditional operations a decade ago, like many old establishments. Ultimately, in order to cultivate a new generation of successors and to carry on the mission of Hakka cuisine, the management decided to transform the restaurant into a modern dining establishment. Recommended dishes: Sweet Sauce Leek and Fresh Oyster Roll, New Bai Wang Rice Cake, Mango Crispy Shrimp, Red Quinoa Grass Jelly Chicken Soup, Steamed Seasonal Fish with Salted Winter Melon, Soft-Shell Squid Rice Noodle Casserole. It is also a Muslim Friendly Restaurant (MFR), certified by the Chinese Muslim Association.
