Established in 1979, Xin Bai Wang Restaurant is a renowned traditional Chinese restaurant in the Taoyuan area, specializing in Hakka cuisine and seafood dishes. Over the years, it has received numerous awards, including being named a Gold Medal Restaurant in Taoyuan City in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as receiving the Excellent Restaurant Award for the Taoyuan Citizen Card in 2015. Initially operating mainly on a reservation basis, Xin Bai Wang Restaurant faced a crossroads ten years ago, similar to many old establishments, contemplating whether to transform or maintain traditional practices. In a bid to nurture the next generation of successors and to carry on the mission of preserving Hakka cuisine, the owner decided to transform the restaurant into a storefront dining experience... Recommended dishes include: Sweet Sauce Leek and Fresh Oyster Rolls, New Bai Wang Rice Cakes, Fragrant Mango Stuffed Prawns, Red Quinoa Herbal Chicken Soup, Salted Winter Melon Steamed Seasonal Fish, and Soft Squid Vermicelli Pot. The restaurant has also been certified as a Muslim Friendly Restaurant (MFR, a restaurant operated by non-Muslims).
