Yakult Factory Introduction
Do you remember the wonderful memories of seeing the Yakult lady riding her bicycle, delivering Yakult to every household, and visiting the Yakult factory to enjoy a bottle of that sweet and tangy drink? The well-known Yakult has been operating in Taiwan for over half a century. In 1999, the Yakult factory relocated from Xinzhuang, Taipei, to Zhongli, Taoyuan. In 2013, a new factory was constructed on the same site, which is now a modern facility that incorporates green energy, environmental protection, and advanced technology. When you walk into the reception area on the first floor, you will be greeted by a three-dimensional statue of the Yakult lady. The factory features large windows that brighten and enhance the comfort of the tour area. The tour path includes a history section of Yakult's development, early artifacts and product display windows, as well as a corridor for observing the manufacturing process. Audio-visual guides are available to explain how Yakult is produced, and you can even experience viewing live images of active Yakult bacteria through a microscope. Additionally, along the tour route, you'll see a three-dimensional statue of the Yakult lady, display windows of Yakult bottles from around the world, a large Yakult model created from over 2,000 empty Yakult bottles, and a cartoon-themed photo area for memorable snapshots.
